Grief and loss comes in many forms.
I help you understand and express it in a safe space.
Grief isn’t just about death. It’s about loss—any loss that leaves a hole in your life.
Whether you’re mourning the gradual loss of a loved one to dementia, the end of a marriage through divorce, or the finality of death, grief is deeply personal and profoundly real. It’s not something you need to ‘get over’ or ‘move on’ from—it’s something you learn to carry and integrate into your life.
As a grief and loss counselor, I’m here to walk with you through that journey. I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can talk openly about your feelings without judgment or expectation. Together, we’ll explore your grief—understanding it and expressing it in a safe and respectful environment.
Grief can feel isolating, like no one understands what you’re going through—but you are not alone.
I help you navigate that path with support, guidance, and care. You don’t have to do this by yourself.

What is Thanatology?
You may be wondering, what is this term “thanatology”, and how does it apply to me? As a thanatologist, my work focuses on understanding and addressing the emotional, psychological, spiritual, and social dimensions of death, dying, and grief.
I guide individuals through some of life’s most challenging transitions—facing mortality, coping with loss, and navigating the complex emotions that accompany grief. I also help with navigating Washington’s Death with Dignity.
